16-Storey Building Under Construction Collapses in South C, Nairobi - January 2026
A 16-storey building under construction in Nairobi's South C area collapsed early in the morning. Two individuals are feared dead following the collapse, with emergency teams responding to the scene. A search and rescue operation is currently underway to locate the two missing persons. Tractors are on site clearing the rubble from the collapsed building. Casualties from the incident have not yet been confirmed.
