The nationwide strike by clinical officers in Kenya has entered its 16th day, continuing a protracted standoff with the Ministry of Health. Healthcare services in counties such as Kwale continue to be severely impacted by the ongoing labor dispute. The Kenya Union of Clinical Officers (KUCO) has clashed with Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale, whom they accuse of deliberately delaying the signing of their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
