Sugar factory workers in Kenya have suspended their nationwide strike following an agreement with the Government. The deal involves KSh 10.8 billion to begin payment of long-standing salary arrears and terminal benefits. This was achieved after the signing of a collective bargaining agreement with all 47 counties.
