Gachagua Criticizes President Ruto over Land and Prepares for 2027 Election - February 2026

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has intensified his criticisms against President William Ruto, alleging that Ruto has illegally taken land designated for the Maasai community. The DCP party leader also stated that the opposition alliance is preparing to ensure President Ruto does not secure a second term in office. Gachagua made these remarks while speaking in Roysambu Constituency. In a separate matter, he has also taken a strong stance regarding violence in Witima, emphasizing the pursuit of justice.
