Kenyan athletes Emmanuel Wanyonyi and Beatrice Chebet have been crowned the 2026 Sports Personalities of the Year, marking their second consecutive win after a similar triumph in 2025. World champions Emmanuel Wanyonyi and Beatrice Chebet have successfully defended their titles, reclaiming the top honours at the recent Sports Personality of the Year Awards (SOYA). The Masters Swimming Championship took place at Bandari Maritime Academy, attracting a significant number of participants demonstrating impressive swimming prowess. Additionally, Athletics Kenya has announced the national teams selected to represent Kenya at the upcoming World Athletics Relays and the African Athletics Championships, both scheduled to be held in Accra, Ghana.
