The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has launched a crackdown on fuel stations selling fuel at inflated prices. Kenyan farmers are demanding the elimination of middlemen and seeking direct, fair market access while calling for increased government support. Principal Secretary Mercy Muthoni has issued a stern warning to all Kenyan hospitals regarding fraudulent activities involving SHA payments, threatening rogue officials with arrest and prosecution. Health Principal Secretary Mary Muthoni has also warned hospital administrators who are illicitly charging patients registered under the Social Health Authority, threatening them with arrest if they continue.
