Survey: Why Ruto's 24pc lead in 2027 race is more a warning than a comfort - May 2026

The survey indicates that opposition now stands at 56%, showing significant public disappointment with the broad-based government arrangement. The poll also shows that Kenya's dominant political parties, ODM and UDA, are rapidly losing voter support ahead of the 2027 general election. Meanwhile, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki emerges as the most preferred running mate for Ruto in 2027 according to the same survey.
