Four employees from the National Treasury Pensions Department have been arrested for their involvement in a KSh10 million bribery scheme targeting the public.

• According to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), a total of KSh10,523,044 was transacted through a mobile paybill account set up for this purpose.

Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara has been arrested at her home after declining to appear before the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) following summons related to her comments undermining a public officer.

Police have intercepted a suspect allegedly transporting stolen Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) materials in Kibini area, Kajiado County, as a result of a tip-off.

• Authorities retrieved **61 railway sleepers** and **60 rail bars** from the suspect's lorry.
• The operation was led by the National Police Service (NPS) and the Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit (CIPU).
• The NPS emphasized that vandalism of railway infrastructure is a felony punishable by life imprisonment.
