Four employees from the National Treasury Pensions Department have been arrested for their involvement in a KSh10 million bribery scheme targeting the public.

• According to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), a total of KSh10,523,044 was transacted through a mobile paybill account set up for this purpose.
• The suspects include two senior pension officers, a chief clerical officer, and an intern.
• This operation is part of the EACC's ongoing crackdown on corruption within government institutions, following previous arrests for similar offenses.
