A series of tragic road accidents have claimed numerous lives across Kenya. A devastating incident on the Kibwezi-Kitui road in Makueni County resulted in the deaths of four family members. Separately, 60 fatalities from road accidents were reported, with ten additional deaths occurring in Makueni, Nakuru, and Tana River counties, including a family returning from a dowry ceremony. In Kajiado County, eight lives were lost in a collision between a lorry and a Nailepu SACCO matatu at Korompoi along the Namanga-Kitengela road, bringing the total reported deaths to significant numbers within a short period.
