The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has recommended the prosecution of three incumbent governors and one former governor over corruption allegations. The EACC has forwarded the names of these individuals to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). The commission is also investigating a total of 822 public officers for their alleged involvement in corruption. In addition to these cases, the EACC stated that investigations are ongoing against five other current governors and ten former governors.
