The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Renson Ingonga, has recommended and approved that corruption charges be brought against Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok and former Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has cleared the arrest and prosecution of the two governors. The directive also targets Webuye West MP Dan Wanyama on corruption charges. Additionally, the DPP's order includes filing charges against Sirisia MP John Waluke and Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa for various offenses.
