Controller of Budget Reports on Significant Expenditure in President's Office - September 2025

A report by Kenya's Controller of Budget, Margaret Nyakang’o, has revealed significant expenditures by President William Ruto's office at State House. The COB flagged an alarming expenditure of approximately Ksh 2 million per day on printing services by the Executive Office of the President in the last financial year. The report also highlights other costs, including Ksh 800M for cards and Ksh 400M for renovations, with total spending exceeding Ksh 11B. Another report noted that the Office of the President utilized billions in a single year while public schools faced challenges with food and salaries.
