• Kenya is currently the third-largest global producer of macadamia nuts, contributing about 13 percent of the world's supply.
• The sector generated Sh7.6 billion in 2024, an increase from Sh6.9 billion the previous year.
• Exports reached 51,200 tonnes in 2024, with major markets including the United States, Netherlands, Germany, Vietnam, China, and Japan, accounting for over 86 percent of sales.

Uasin Gishu County in Kenya is set to benefit from a significant health digitization program, receiving 548 digital devices for 131 public health facilities. This initiative aims to modernize healthcare, improve efficiency, and combat fraud within the sector.

• Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale announced the distribution of devices and highlighted that the digital system has already helped shut down nearly 1,000 facilities involved in fraud.
