Samsung and Vivo Launch New Smartphones and Software in Kenya - September 2025
Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A17 smartphone and Galaxy Buds Core in Kenya, expanding its budget segment offerings. The Galaxy A17, which features a dedicated Gemini AI button, will be available from September 22, 2025. Concurrently, the highly anticipated Vivo V60 5G has officially launched in Kenya after weeks of teasers and pre-orders. The Vivo V60 5G features ZEISS-powered cameras with a focus on professional-grade photography. In addition to new hardware, Vivo is also preparing to launch its OriginOS software globally. New regional website pages for the operating system have appeared in markets including Kenya, suggesting an upcoming rebranding of its software interface.
