President Ruto Launches Sh5bn Nyota Programme for Youth Empowerment - October 2025

President William Ruto has officially launched the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (Nyota) programme. This long-awaited initiative is a substantial Sh5 billion fund aimed at empowering 100,000 young Kenyans. The government's Nyota Grant program is designed to benefit 101,500 youths across 1,450 wards in Kenya. The launch of the NYOTA program was announced by the Kenyan government amid other national news.
