Kenyan Athletes Secure Victories in Cross Country, Duathlon, and Rugby - October 2025

Victor Kimosop and Caren Chebet were crowned champions at the 2025 Betika Cross Country meet in Kericho County. Separately, Kenya dominated the Africa Duathlon Cup in Kilifi, where Joseph Okal and Megan Irungu secured gold in the men's and women's elite categories. Kenya's performance in the duathlon signaled its growing strength in multi-sport racing by achieving a clean sweep of the podium in the men's event. In rugby, Kenya Shujaa successfully defended their Safari Sevens title at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi. They defeated Shogun 14-7 in the finals on October 12, 2025, marking their third straight win against the team.
