Samsung Rolls Out One UI 8 Update and Prepares Galaxy Tab S11 Launch in Kenya - October 2025
Samsung has brought its One UI 8 update to the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A16 5G in Kenya and the broader East Africa region. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G has also begun receiving its One UI 8 update, based on Android 16, in several international markets including the Philippines, Netherlands, and Thailand, though local users in Kenya are still awaiting the update. In addition to software, firmware releases indicate the imminent launch of Samsung's Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra in Kenya. This planned hardware launch follows the devices' global unveiling in early September and recent rollout in Nigeria. Official confirmation from Samsung Mobile Kenya has not yet been provided for the new tablets.
