The Environment and Land Court in Thika has issued temporary injunctions to stop the sale or development of a nine-acre parcel of land in Kahawa Sukari, Ruiru, Kiambu County. The land, valued at Ksh250 million in 2019, was allegedly grabbed from a public school, prompting the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to seek its recovery.

Five Kenyan traffic police officers were arrested by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) for allegedly extorting bribes from motorists along the Busia-Kisumu Road. This operation follows numerous complaints from road users about widespread bribery and unlawful 'toll points'.
