The 2025 East African Safari Classic Rally is set to begin on Friday, December 5th, featuring a nine-day battle between man and machine across Kwale, Taita Taveta, and Kajiado counties.

• 60 international rally drivers from 75 countries will participate, with 12 Kenyan drivers, including former champion Baldev Chager.
• The event expects to boost the local economy significantly, with over 1,000 hotel rooms booked in Diani.
• Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya emphasized the rally's role in positioning Kenya as a premier sports tourism destination, building on a successful Confederation of African Cycling (CAC) Africa Road Cycling Championship held recently.

A squad of four Kenyan youth boxers is heading to Luanda, Angola, for the fourth edition of the Africa Youth Games from December 14-21. This event aims to prepare them for future continental and global championships.

• The team consists of four boxers aged 15-16 years: Ellah Demesi (minimumweight, 48kg), Clinton Omondi (bantamweight, 54kg), Felix Ochieng’ (featherweight, 57kg), and Sonia Atieno (light welterweight, 63.5kg).
• The head coach, John Omondi, stated the team has "gained immensely" from training alongside the senior squad at Mathare Police Depot in Nairobi.
• The trip is sponsored by the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK) and other government agencies, aiming to provide exposure to young athletes and ensure continuity in elite championships, according to team manager David Munuhe.
