Safaricom Home Fibre is set to introduce flexible ‘Pay-as-you-go’ hourly, daily, and weekly internet plans, shifting from its traditional monthly model to democratize access to Wi-Fi. In a separate development, Airtel Money has partnered with Showmax, enabling Kenyan subscribers to pay for their streaming subscriptions directly from their Airtel Money wallets for a more convenient experience. Concurrently, NTT DATA has rapidly rolled out Starlink-powered connectivity, completing nearly 100 installations in Kenya since becoming an authorized reseller. The company aims for over 1,000 deployments across Africa in the next six months to enhance enterprise connectivity.
