Reactions to 2025 KCSE Results and Examination Content - January 2026

The release of the 2025 KCSE results has prompted various reactions from the public and officials. Retired chief justice David Maraga criticized the government after the results showed over 350,000 candidates scoring D+ and below. In a direct response to poor performance in the examinations, parents closed down Uteneni School to show their dissatisfaction. Separately, students were reportedly distressed after the Sign Language subject was omitted from the KCSE examination listings, causing concern among those who had prepared for it.
