KRA Opens Search for New Boss After Kicking Out Wattanga - April 2026
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is actively seeking a new Commissioner General following the dismissal of Humphrey Wattanga on Wednesday, April 8, with the board announcing the recruitment process on Tuesday, April 14. KRA is also set to upgrade pedestrian walkways around its Times Tower headquarters in the Nairobi CBD by installing pedestrian barriers. Two Kenyan dependents have finally received NSSF survivors' benefits after a protracted delay of over three and a half years, thanks to intervention by the Commission on Administrative Justice.
