Mukuru kwa Ruben Residents Protest Kenya Power Electricity Disconnection - May 2026

Residents of Mukuru kwa Ruben have staged protests following Kenya Power's decision to disconnect electricity supply to the informal settlement. Three suspected robbers have been killed by police in Transmara South during a special operation, with the suspects reportedly being sought for the murder of local businessmen. A 60-year-old woman has been discovered deceased in what is being treated as a suspected murder in Nakuru County's Eni-ng'ang'a village.
