EPRA Reduces Fuel Prices as Diesel Drops by Shilling 10 - June 2026

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced a reduction in fuel prices, marking a significant change in the cost of essential commodities for Kenyans. Fuel prices in Kenya have seen a reduction, with diesel prices dropping by Shilling 10 and petrol by 22 cents. Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi presented the 2026/27 National Budget, a spending plan totaling KSh 4.8 trillion, before Parliament. Additionally, despite the Kenyan government allocating KSh 781.5 billion to the education sector, schools continue to face significant financial shortages.
