The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) National Executive Committee has officially removed Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna from his position as Secretary-General for the second time. The removal followed a report from an internal dispute committee, with NEC ratifying the decision. Sifuna is heading back to court to challenge this recent decision by ODM NEC. Meanwhile, the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal had previously upheld the ODM party's right to proceed with disciplinary action against Sifuna, despite quashing his immediate ouster. The Linda Mwananchi political faction has announced plans to challenge ODM's decision to expel Sifuna a second time.
