Kenya Airways (KQ) has cancelled its return flight from Cape Town to Nairobi after one of its aircraft experienced a tyre burst shortly after landing safely on Monday afternoon. The incident highlights aviation safety concerns for the airline. In a separate legal matter, the High Court in Kisumu dismissed a petition by four foreign nationals, clearing the way for their trial in an alleged aircraft forgery case. Separately, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested a Nairobi-based advocate over allegations of misappropriating Ksh49.4 million meant for a land purchase.
