Infotrak survey ranks Murang'a Kenya's best-performing county - August 2026

A recent Infotrak survey has ranked Murang'a County as Kenya's best-performing county, assessing devolved units over the past 11 years. The survey found that 75% of Kenyans believe county governments now deliver services more effectively than before devolution. Additionally, the research identified the top 5 most improved governors and highlighted best-performing members of county assembly across different regions. These findings reflect growing public confidence in the devolution system implemented since 2010.
