Infotrak Survey Ranks Murang'a Kenya's Best-Performing County - August 2026

A recent Infotrak survey indicates that Murang'a County has been ranked as Kenya's best-performing county, with the survey assessing devolved units over the past 11 years. The same research found that 75% of Kenyans believe county governments offer better service delivery than before devolution was implemented. Infotrak has also unveiled its CountyTrak Performance Index highlighting the top 15 best-performing governors based on public approval ratings, top three governors by region, and top 5 most improved governors. Additionally, the research identified the best-performing Members of County Assembly across the country.
