The convoy of DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua was reportedly attacked again by thugs in Nakuru County's Salgaa area shortly after the former Deputy President's remarks. Rigathi Gachagua, leader of the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP), and Nakuru West MP Samuel Arama have clashed following the alleged attack, with Gachagua directly accusing Arama of orchestrating the violence and questioning the Jubilee Party's commitment to the opposition. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has vowed to defend himself and his supporters against alleged goon attacks disrupting his political rallies, stating they will retaliate if the police fail to provide protection. Deputy President Kithure Kindiki publicly stated to Gachagua: 'I am trying to love you, but you have a lot of disrespect,' highlighting the deepening rift within opposition ranks.
