The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced the indefinite closure of the Nyaru–Fluorspar–Kapkayo–Tenges (B124) road due to safety concerns following a significant structural fault.

• Key road closed due to a serious longitudinal crack at Kaptoror Village, approximately 13 kilometers from Nyaru.
• KeNHA is the organization overseeing the road closure.
• The closure is a precautionary measure amid ongoing heavy rainfall, as geotechnical instability poses a severe hazard.
