The Ministry of Health has reported a significant increase in Mpox cases, spreading to four additional counties in Kenya.

• 137 cumulative cases have been registered, a rise from 67 in April.
• The report was made by Mary Muthoni, Public Health Principal Secretary, stating affected counties include Isiolo, Kisii, Kirinyaga, and Machakos.
• Furthermore, 400 individuals in close contact with infected patients are being monitored to control the outbreak.
