The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has intervened against the Busia County Government for imposing illegal fines of Ksh20,000 through an unauthorized sign outside the Governor’s office.

• Ksh20,000 is being unlawfully fined to motorists.
• The action is led by KeNHA, supported by Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah.
• The sign, claiming “No parking of vehicles is allowed,” was installed without National Roads Authority approval, prompting KeNHA to demand its immediate removal.
