The Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) held a workshop from July 22-25 in Naivasha, uniting County Pharmacists and Ministry of Health officials to improve Kenya’s healthcare supply chain.

• Eleven counties were recognized for their effective health product budgeting, reflecting commitment to timely procurement.
• Dr. Waqo Ejersa, CEO of KEMSA, emphasized a shift towards data-driven approaches and called for counties to settle outstanding debts for uninterrupted supply.
• The event introduced a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system aimed at enhancing procurement precision and addressing public health needs.
