Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku has urged the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to arrest all civil servants implicated in its recent corruption reports, signaling a strong government stance against the looting of public resources. Speaking in Matuga Constituency, Kwale County, on Wednesday, August 6, CS Ruku emphasized that the era of impunity is over and no corrupt official will be spared.

  • The EACC report, released on Monday, August 5, ranked the Ministry of Interior and National Administration as the most corruption-prone institution with a prevalence of 47.8 per cent.
  • CS Ruku called on Kenyans to be vigilant and report any suspected dishonest public servants, stressing that integrity must prevail.
  • The Ministry of Health, under Aden Duale, followed with 19.7 per cent, and the pensions department within the National Treasury came third with 5.8 per cent.
