The Kenyan Ministry of Labour has announced the disubursement of Ksh4.6 billion to over one million Inua Jamii beneficiaries, who will each receive Ksh4,000 this month. This payment covers stipends for both the June and July 2025 cycles, following a delay in the June payment due to a data cleanup.

• A total of 1,151,917 Older Persons and Persons Living With Severe Disabilities are enrolled in the Inua Jamii Program.
• The Principal Secretary of Social Services and Senior Citizen Affairs, Joseph Motari, confirmed the payment and apologized for the earlier delay.
• Beneficiaries can access funds via the eCitizen platform or by dialling *222#, and are urged to register with the Social Health Authority (SHA) for healthcare.
