The Kenya men’s national Under-20 Lacrosse team is highly optimistic about their performance at the upcoming 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s Under-20 Championship in Jeju, South Korea, despite significant financial challenges.

• Kenya and Ghana are the only African countries participating in the global event, which features 20 nations.
• Kenya Lacrosse Association (KLA) patron Linda Mwende highlighted the team's determination, noting that they departed for South Korea even without government financial support, a concern given many players are from humble backgrounds.
• The team, playing in Group E, will face Chinese Taipei in their opening match on Saturday, followed by games against Puerto Rico and Germany.
