The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced new fuel prices for August 15 to September 14, 2025, showing a slight decrease for petrol and kerosene. This follows a month of higher prices and aligns with a global drop in oil prices.

• Prices for super petrol and kerosene have each dropped by Ksh1 per litre, while diesel prices remain unchanged.
• In Nairobi, super petrol will retail at Ksh185.31, diesel at Ksh171.58, and kerosene at Ksh155.58 per litre.
• This adjustment is in line with the Finance Act 2023 and includes a 16 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT).
