A 20-year-old Palestinian woman, Marah Abu Zuhri, tragically died in Pisa, Italy, after being flown from Gaza for urgent medical treatment due to a "very complex clinical picture" and severe wasting.

• She died on Friday after a sudden respiratory crisis and cardiac arrest at the University Hospital of Pisa.
• The woman was among 31 patients brought to Italy this week, with over 180 children and young people from Gaza transported since the war began.
