A man was arrested in Kasarani, Nairobi, for allegedly creating fake vaccination cards and stamps, including those for the Port Health Services at Wilson Airport. He was set to be arraigned in court following his arrest by DCI detectives.

• The suspect, Desmond Omollo Ogutu, 28, was found with 274 blank International Certificates of Vaccination and 91 single-dose vaccination cards.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) linked Ogutu to forged yellow cards recovered from six Somali nationals at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on August 8.
• Among the seized items were stamps inscribed with ‘Injectable Polio Vaccine’, ‘Stamaril Pasteur’, ‘Gertrude Children’s Hospital’, and ‘Dr Desmond Ogutu’.
