The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued a severe warning to motorists on the Kiserian–Magadi Road due to rampant overloading, following the launch of their new Nairobi regional offices on Friday, August 22.

• Acting Director General Eng Luka Kimeli stated numerous complaints were received, with overloading threatening the road’s integrity and safety.
• The KeNHA will collaborate with the Axle Load Enforcement Highway Unit (ALEHU) to ensure compliance with vehicle load limits.
• The new Nairobi offices aim to decentralize services and improve responsiveness, while staff are urged to champion efforts for pothole-free highways.
