Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has received a prestigious award for social justice and youth mentorship from the United Nations Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.

• The award recognizes efforts to advance Sustainable Development Goals, including mentorship of youth-led projects and climate solutions.
• Mwaura was honored for his work in youth mentorship and social justice across Kenya and the wider region.
• He previously served in the National Assembly and Senate, representing persons with disability.
• Other Kenyans, including former CEO of the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), Ezekiel Mutua, have also received this award.
