Kenya's golf team, led by Njoroge Kibugu, is set to compete in the SportsBiz Africa Golf Championship in Kigali, Rwanda, from September 3-5. This event, part of the Sunshine Development Tour-East Africa Swing 2025 season, features a prize purse of Sh3.2 million and offers significant points for global golf rankings and Olympic Games qualification.

• A nine-player Kenyan contingent will participate, including Dismas Indiza and Daniel Nduva, alongside amateurs John Lejirma and Michael Karanga.
• The three-day, 54-hole stroke play championship will be held at the Kigali Golf Resort and Villas.
• The tournament provides Sunshine Development Tour Order of Merit points, Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) points, and World Amateur Golf Ranking points, crucial for athletes aiming for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
