Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra was in Kenya filming scenes for an upcoming Indian action-adventure movie titled Globetrotter, set to be the biggest film produced out of Asia. The film, directed by Srisaila Sri Rajamouli, utilizes Kenya for nearly 95 per cent of its African scenes, showcasing various landscapes.

• The movie has a budget of $116 million (approximately Ksh14.9 billion) and stars Priyanka Chopra, Mahesh Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
• Filming took place in locations such as Maasai Mara, Naivasha, Samburu, and Amboseli, with a crew of 120 people for a fortnight.
• The director met with Prime CS and Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi on Tuesday, September 2, indicating economic benefits for Kenya through local talent, hospitality, and logistics.
