A 20-year-old man, Guracha Hassan Garbole, is in a Nanyuki hospital fighting for his life after allegedly being shot by Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officers during the Ondoa Jangili security operation. His family claims he was shot on August 31, 2025, at Golole trading centre in Marsabit, then blindfolded, bundled into a vehicle, and later abandoned at Moyale sub-county hospital.
