The Nakuru County Government has strongly refuted claims by the Standard newspaper that 132 infants are being detained at the Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital (NCRTH) over unpaid medical bills. In a statement released on Saturday, September 6, County Executive Committee Member for Health, Roselyn Mungai, clarified that these allegations were entirely false, stemming from a recent paediatric surgery camp.
