A 24-year-old man, Dennis Gitonga, tragically drowned at a geothermal spa in Olkaria, Naivasha, during his birthday celebration over the weekend. He had traveled from Nairobi with friends, and despite immediate resuscitation efforts and transfer to Naivasha Sub-County Hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
