Five suspects have been arrested in connection with a kidnapping in Ruaka, Kenya, after demanding a Ksh.500,000 ransom. The victim was located injured, and the suspects were apprehended following a swift operation by Kiambu County detectives.

• Five suspects: Sydney Ezra Achanda, John Louise Omondi, Enock Sum Cheruyot, Peter Kanini Mwangi, and Lucy Sara Muhonja were arrested.
• Ransom Payment Received: The kidnappers received Ksh.68,000 before their arrest.
• Evidence recovered: A kitchen knife, ten assorted mobile phones, and a tablet were found in two getaway vehicles (a red Suzuki Swift and a white Mazda Demio).
