Residents from Ngong, Kajiado County protested outside the Karen home of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Friday morning, demanding his intervention over alleged land grabbing involving 2000 acres of land worth Ksh2 billion.

• The protesters accused Lands Principal Secretary Nixon Korir and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei of reluctance to address the issue.
• They demanded the immediate resignation of PS Korir and accused Kajiado West Member of Parliament George Sunkuyia of orchestrating the land grabbing.
• Kajiado County Governor Joseph Ole Lenku stated earlier that the matter is in court, with the Court of Appeal having ordered the surrender of the land's title deed.
