Dennis Itumbi, Head of Presidential Special Projects and Creative Economy, has accused the Daily Nation of misreporting regarding whistleblower Andrew Rotich's job status at the Social Health Authority (SHA).

• Itumbi refutes the Daily Nation's claim that Rotich lost his job after blowing the whistle on a multimillion-shilling medical billing scam.
• He stated that Rotich applied for Assistant Director, not Deputy Director as alleged by the paper, and is currently shortlisted for interviews.
• The Daily Nation had reported that Rotich failed to make the shortlist for Deputy Director of Forensic Audit and Risk Assurance after exposing corruption.
• Itumbi claims the newspaper is a "factory of lies" and this is not the first time he has criticized the publication for its reporting on the Kenya Kwanza administration.
